As part of the arrangement, Pod Point will install smart home charging units for all Kia customers who purchase an electric vehicle. Each unit will be priced at £300, after the deduction of the Home Charge Grant.
The new partnership coincides with the launch of the all-new class-leading 282-mile e-Niro, which is available to order from Beadles Kia Coulsdon and goes on sale in April is priced from £32,995 (after the £3,500 Plug-in car grant). It joins Kia’s already extensive range of alternative fuel models, including the Niro Self-Charging Hybrid, Niro Plug-in Hybrid, Optima Sportswagon Plug-in Hybrid and Soul EV. Kia is set to launch its #GoElectric initiative as part of a wider campaign to become one of the industry’s leading EV manufacturers.
