The new R8: Born on the track, built for the road

Faster, sharper and more defined, the new R8 features a range of performance and styling updates that ensure it takes the lead on the track and on the road.

  • Open for ordering in early 2019 to Audi Sport fans, the new R8 will come as Coupe and Spyder, in 570PS quattro and 620PS performance quattro versions. The beating heart V10 engine has been enhanced to give the new R8 more power, torque and performance, including a top speed above the 200mph mark for several versions. With its unmistakeable roar the R8 V10 Coupe accelerates from 0 to 62mph in 3.4 seconds and the Spyder in 3.5 seconds. And thanks to suspension and steering revisions, you can now benefit from greater handling precision when you need it most. It is power to match the purpose.

The R8's striking appearance has also had a subtle makeover. The improved design makes the new R8 look sharper and tauter with a wider Singleframe radiator grille and front splitter. Thick bars divide up the large air inlets and flat slits in the hood are reminiscent of the Audi Sport Ur-quattro icon. The new look also includes upgrades to the interior with more driver focus and new colour and stitching options, giving Audi Sport fans the opportunity to really make the R8 their own - inside and out.

The new Audi R8 is due to arrive early next year, for more information or to register your interest please contact the Sales team at your local Audi Centre.
